Austin Jazz Society - The AJS is an integral part of the Austin jazz scene. It's signature Chez Zee concert season runs from January to October on first Sundays 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Advanced tickets are encouraged. Visit the AJS website to learn more.
Austin Traditional Jazz Society - ATJS has supported and perpetuated traditional jazz in the Austin area since 1977 with regular events and programming.
Astral Spirits (Independent Record Label)- Based in Austin since 2014, Astral Spirits is an independent record label that focuses on free and experimental jazz.
Sonic Transmissions - ST focuses on improvisational and avant garde music. Formerly based in Austin since 2015 until the pandemic when founder/bassist Ingnebrigt Haker Flaten moved back home to Norway.
Diverse Arts - Founded by the legendary Harold McMillan, Diverse Arts is a multicultural and multidisciplinary arts organization based in east Austin. It hosts the Blue Monday Blues Jam at Kenny Dorham's Backyard, next to the Historic Victory Grill.
Epistrophy Arts - With the tireless founder at P.G. Moreno at the helm, in 2024, Epistrophy Arts celebrates its 25th anniversary as a local nonprofit dedicated to showcasing the improvisational and adventurous sounds of the avant garde and free/experimental jazz space with regular programming throughout the year. Past performances include Sam Rivers, Tim Byrne/Nasheet Waits, Myra Melford, Hamid Drake, David Murray/Kahil El'Zabar, William Parker, The Meridian Brothers, Andrew Cyrille/Billy Harper, The Necks, Atomic, the late Fred Ho, the late Peter Brotzmann and many others.
Texas Jazz Society - Founded in 2018 by Austin-based musician and club owner, Kris Kimura, the Texas Jazz Society preserves and promotes jazz through performances, clinics and masterclasses.
Austin Swing Syndicate - A loccally based non-profit since 1999, the AWS has earned its legendary status with its signature Thursday night dance at the Texas Federation of Women's Clubs near the University of Texas at Austin campus. AWS promotes and perpetuates the Austin swing and Lindy Hop dance community
Women In Jazz - Founded in 2018 by jazz vocalist, Austin's reigning Queen of Jazz, Pamela Hart.
Jazz OUTside - (Diverse Arts/Kenny Dorham's Backyard) - Entering its 13th season in 2024 with live jazz at Kenny Dorham's Backyard.

Austin Jazz Workshop - In the 2023-2024 season, comprised of area musicians and educators, AJW celebrates its 30th anniversary taking live jazz to area campuses and schools, making jazz accessible to all ages and backgrounds.
Austin Youth Jazz Orchestra - A project of the Austin Jazz Society, supporting the best and rising talent of young students across Austin.
